If you're looking for a study on end times . . . Wow! This one will blow your socks off. From a teacher who loves God deeply and knows her stuff! I can't wait to get my hands on it - just became available!

  • This is a great study for those who want to learn more about what Jesus says concerning the end of the age. I learned a lot from this study and how to prepare myself and my family to look to the future without fear and be ready for the return of Jesus Christ.

  • Through this indepth study of Matthew 24, Jan is bringing a much needed message to the Church in America, "Be prepared to go through the tribulation."

  • This book was bought to use in the bible study. Jan does a great job of guiding the reader to gather and understand the information that is available to us in the bible. This is not a commentary, but a guide to delving into God's word to understand the signs of the second coming of Jesus.

  • This was a great study and I was fortunate enough to learn directly from it's author. Jan's clear teaching and understanding of Christ's teaching to his disciples in Matt: 24 are made relevant to today's Christians. The truth of scripture through the cross referencing was done much in the manner of all Precepts studies.

  • Jan does a thorough job of cross-referencing scripture with scripture, and allowing the scriptures to speak for themselves. The homework is very straight forward, not overwhelming. I liked Jan's clear, consice style, and I learned a lot from this study.

This is a thorough study on what Jesus says about his return. While the end times will be more trying than anything most of us have ever seen, knowing what to look for brings a sense of peace and comfort instead of uneasiness or uncertainty.

I appreciate the use of a timeline in this study to show the events that need to take place in order for Jesus to return. There's a lot more to it than earthquakes, floods and birds falling from the sky without explanation. The tribulation will begin with specific events that have not yet occurred.

I think it is important for all Believers to participate in this study so they are not deceived by false teachings even within the church. I don't believe many Christians intend to deceive others, but they do when a scripture is taken out of context. This study does not focus on partial scripture, commentaries, opinions or teachings of others in regards to the second coming, but rather takes you on a journey through scriptures, cross referencing what the rest of the Bible says to what Jesus states in Matthew 24. It will be much easier to stand together if we are mentally, spiritually and emotionally prepared than it will be to convince others of what is happening while it's happening.

I think it's important to note that this study is NOT trying to scare you into hoarding food, water and guns to prepare for an end times battle. It is preparing you to not be deceived. It is informative and eye opening, especially when you have always believed that on any given day Jesus is just going to show up and wisk us away. This teaching is valuable for Believers to understand that we will not be taken away in a pre-tribulation rapture, but will endure hardships as well. Knowing that in advance gives a sobering perspective that even when it gets unbearable, that God is God and there is a greater reward in persevering than there is in momentary comfort.

Using Christ's own words from Matthew 24 as the study's spine, this course is concise and conclusive. As I worked through the book, I was blessed to be part of the author's own small group study.

I found it to be accurate and helpful, and most important, comforting. The subject of the end times has often tempted me to fear the future. I'm still extremely concerned and watchful, interpreting world events in light of Scripture, and preparing myself and my children spiritually, but now I have found tremendous comfort in Christ's own words in Matt. 24:6, "See to it that you are not frightened."

A parallel command is also found in verse 4, "See to it that no one misleads you." Christ repeatedly warns of false teachers, false prophets and those who would deceive and mislead. We must be grounded in truth so that we can spot those who would mislead. Seek truth!
